Director of Specialty Nursing.
Bridger Veterinary Specialists is Montana's first referral-only specialty and emergency hospital, and since opening in 2018, we have experienced tremendous growth. Today, we serve patients from across Montana and the surrounding region through our expanding network of specialty and emergency services.
Located in beautiful Bozeman, Montana, our 22,000-square-foot hospital continues to grow with new technology, advanced treatment options, and exciting career opportunities for veterinary professionals who want to challenge themselves, expand their skills, and make a meaningful impact on patients and their families.
Our team provides advanced care in Surgery, Oncology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, and 24-Hour Emergency & Critical Care. With continued investment in advanced imaging, MRI, radiation therapy, and specialty services, there has never been a more exciting time to join our team.

About the Role
The Director of Specialty Nursing serves as the operational leader for Specialty Services, partnering closely with our Specialty Medical Directors to ensure exceptional patient care, operational excellence, and leadership development.
Rather than simply managing departments, you'll help build the systems, develop the leaders, and foster the culture that allows exceptional specialty medicine to occur.
You'll provide leadership across Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, and future specialty services. You'll spend time both leading strategically and working alongside your team, coaching leaders, removing barriers, improving systems, and supporting operational excellence throughout our specialty services.

Qualifications
- Veterinary Technician with 5+ years of veterinary experience.
- Leadership experience with demonstrated success developing people and teams.
- Strong communication, organizational, and operational leadership skills.
- Experience with staffing, labor management, budgeting, process improvement, and organizational development preferred.
Compensation
$34.00–$41.00 per hour, depending on experience, leadership background, and qualifications.
In addition to competitive compensation, this position offers bonus opportunities, relocation assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package.
