Southern California Veterinary Specialty Hospital is a referral and critical care practice located in Irvine, California. Our experienced and compassionate team of specialists is committed to creating a professional, respectful environment in which advanced skills, innovative tools, effective treatment plans, and open dialogue are utilized to provide exemplary physical and emotional care for patients and their families. Our specialists are also committed to the relationships we have developed with primary care veterinarians since our hospital was established in 1989. To this day, many continue to entrust their patients to our care after more than 27 years.
Southern California Veterinary Specialty Hospital's services include: Orthopedic and Oncologic Surgery, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Oncology, and Critical Care. The seven practice areas all function under one roof, and our Critical Care service is open 24/7/365, with a Surgeon and Neurosurgeon always on call. Our specialists apply state-of-the-art technology and a multidisciplinary approach to diagnose, treat, and manage clinical problems, while always serving as an advocate for the patient’s quality of life.
Our specialists promote and participate in research and continuing education. Furthermore, we actively provide and support continuing education for members of the veterinary community, including veterinary students, interns, residents, and staff. We are committed to working closely with rescue organizations, nonprofits, and shelters in order to provide care for animals in need, and engage in the local community through service and philanthropy.
