National Veterinary Associates (NVA™) was founded on the idea that medicine is best practiced at the local level, and we can improve the quality of care by sharing ideas and supporting each other.
We have evolved into a community of individual hospitals and pet resorts comprised of caring and empathetic people. We want to preserve the brand our hospitals have carefully curated over the years, while providing the support to our hospitals and our people so that they can focus on delivering high-quality medicine to pets.
At the center of our core values is Servant Leadership. This requires that we lead from a position of kindness, caring and being good listeners. NVA is committed to taking care of the profession, and the profession of veterinary medicine is the people.

It’s what motivated Dr. Creighton—he spent 23 years in practice before building an organization that’s been dedicated to the love of pets for more than two decades. And it’s what motivates us all at NVA, today. Whether we’re serving in the Support Center, partnering with hospitals in the field, or caring for patients in an NVA hospital or pet resort, we’re united by one thing: a love of animals and the people who love them.
