Housed in a newly built, state of the art hospital, First Coast Veterinary Emergency is located 3 blocks from the ocean in beautiful Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Surgical and diagnostic support is provided through First Coast Veterinary Specialists, which operates in the hospital during regular business hours and is led by the area’s most experienced board certified veterinary surgeon. We offer advanced diagnostic equipment including an in-house Idexx blood lab and digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, an 8-slice helical CT scanner and more.The ER hospital staff includes two additional full-time emergency veterinarians, experienced and skilled emergency technical staff, and a full support staff. We also have a reliable and consistent source of qualified relief doctors and technicians. Our ER is known for offering superior client service and the highest quality in patient care, and our hospital is consistently reviewed as one of the best veterinary ERs in the area.
