Animal Emergency of Gainesville is an off hours ER hospital designed to serve the surrounding Day practices by offering after hours ER service and critical care. Our doctors direct their own medicine and therefore are not under the direction of another DVM and we have a competent staff. We are not a referral center so the case load is based on what may be referred for continued care from a day practice or what the ER clinician decides to hospitalize. We are shareholder-owned practice in Gainesville, GA with 3 DVM on rotation with alternating shifts between days and nights. The DVM has nine days off between rotations.
