About Us: AnimERge is an AAHA-accredited specialty and emergency referral center located in Raritan, New Jersey. We pride ourselves on creating a family-like atmosphere with many long-term staff members, some of whom have been with us for over 20 years. Our collaborative, fun, and team-oriented environment ensures that every team member feels valued and supported. Our ER team works closely with our Board-Certified specialists in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, and Dermatology to provide the best care for our patients. We also keep things lively with regular themed food days and team events!
Schedule and Support: We offer a flexible schedule of 3 12-13 hour shifts per week, with overlapping coverage from morning, swing, and overnight veterinarians. We also schedule an additional doctor on Sundays to help manage the weekend caseload. Newer graduates will always have an experienced clinician available for mentorship. Our ER team is supported by highly skilled, Fear Free-certified technicians, ensuring the best experience for both our patients and staff. Part-time and relief shifts are also available!
State-of-the-Art Facilities: AnimERge is equipped with digital x-rays, ultrasound, an in-house lab (Heska and Idexx), endoscopy for both cats and dogs, 4 oxygen cages, and a dedicated ER surgical suite. While we have a boarded surgeon on staff, our ER veterinarians also have the opportunity to perform their own surgeries.
